Whatever you were doing before you got here, it isn't what you're doing now. What you're doing now is waking up in an unfamiliar bed in an unfamiliar room with... unfamiliar glasses on your face. No matter what you can do, you can't take those glasses off... but if you roll your eyes down, you'll be given a rundown of what's going on here.
Hmm. Well, that's probably a little unnerving. Maybe you should... leave? Fortunately, your room's not locked, but as you go downstairs and try and ask the locals what's going on, you'll find they're... less than cooperative. And if you go outside the inn and try to leave into the town... well, you'll find several locations around the town, but you'll also find that you can't seem to leave.
Well. Maybe you should talk to the other people who just showed up here. All the locals are going to tell you is an explanation is forthcoming, so you might want to kill some time getting to know each other.

[Of course just as things were getting interesting back home he'd have to get dragged away to something even more boring than one of Duvalie's lectures and makes even the village in the Nord Highlands look advanced and modern.
It takes a grand total of a few minutes before McBurn is bored stiff. Best way to deal with this? Fall asleep in some weird spot and see how people will react.
So yeah, one may find the lazy fire demon sleeping in a weird location and in a weird position. Leaning against a tree or building? Sure he can sleep like that. Though if one looks carefully enough, he's obviously faking it to see how people might react. [ Akira is quickly out and about, posture rigid and hands curled just a little too tightly into fists. He's never actually seen horses up close and personal... so he does end up caving to the desire to try petting one. And some time after that, he can be found leaning against a fence, watching them. ]

...yes, this is definitely a dream. There are quite a few horse villagers in the town she's in. They're not as big as the horses she's looking at right now, and they certainly wouldn't allow any humans to hop on their backs for a ride. (Well, maybe except the horse villager who talks about nothing but doing push ups and running marathons. They might be into it.)
