[mock trial intro] move 'em on, head 'em up
Whatever you were doing before you got here, it isn't what you're doing now. What you're doing now is waking up in an unfamiliar bed in an unfamiliar room with... unfamiliar glasses on your face. No matter what you can do, you can't take those glasses off... but if you roll your eyes down, you'll be given a rundown of what's going on here.
Hmm. Well, that's probably a little unnerving. Maybe you should... leave? Fortunately, your room's not locked, but as you go downstairs and try and ask the locals what's going on, you'll find they're... less than cooperative. And if you go outside the inn and try to leave into the town... well, you'll find several locations around the town, but you'll also find that you can't seem to leave.
Well. Maybe you should talk to the other people who just showed up here. All the locals are going to tell you is an explanation is forthcoming, so you might want to kill some time getting to know each other.

[So yeah, the first thing Sissel is doing? Trying to get the glasses off his head. Because seriously who does that to a cat?
Watch out he might be running into you while backing up.]
Everywhere else
[Once he has resigned himself to his fate of being stuck in those glasses, Sissel can be found laying around just about anywhere in the town. On someone's bed, on a table, even on top of a fencepost. There is no end to the places he might turn up!
But the one constant is that, as he lays there, he is silently judging anyone who walks by. He's got that resting bitchface cats all have too.]

................................
[No moon sign, so...
When Sin sees the kitty, she pauses, looks left, then right, then left and right again, before she, at last, tentatively reaches out to pet it.]
no subject
But no, this is definitely not a moon kitty. Just a totally normal cat with glasses on his head.
Sin looks interesting enough to Sissel will allow the pettings too.]

She smiles a little in spire of herself. Kishar isn't exactly...pettable a lot of the time...or a cat...]
That's a cool scarf you got there, kitty.
no subject
Thanks. Lynne thought it looked cool too.
[And all the talking too apparently.]
no subject
[That's normal. Ah well. Still not a moon cat and there's no sailor named Lynne. All the pettins.]
She your owner or just someone you know?
no subject
I live with her right now. I guess Yomiel owns me? But he's in prison.
[He's not really sure he would call it 'owning' though, he kind of just migrates wherever he wants to be.]

Olympia eyes him suspiciously. He sure looks like a cat, but the glasses raise questions.]
Are you responsible for this?
WHOOPS hi there
Nah. I spend most of my days sleeping and eating tuna. When would I have time to do anything like this?
[Except he totally just did talk.]
the perfect timing
Someone had to have brought us here, and I didn't.
no subject
It wasn't me either. But there's a lot of other people here, so one of them probably brought us here.
[He actually seems nonplussed at the idea of being carted around somewhere. Probably because he's a cat and that's how people take him anywhere. Cat carriers, man.]
no subject
Both "players" and "locals." I take it you're not the latter.

A masked face looks down at the cat, saying nothing. ]

Now Sissel is backing up in the other direction.]

KITTY IS RUNNING SO MUCH]
everywhere else
He's definitely spotted him on a fencepost and well. He'll take a quick look around.
It's not like he's fond of animals or anything, but this place is curious in of itself (in an annoying "taken prisoner" sense) and he should definitely familiarize himself with his surroundings. He'll approach the cat cautiously and try to see if he has a collar... ]

Come here. You have an owner, don't you?
[ He makes a 'come hither' gesture. Maybe he can get the cat to show him to whomever owns him and find out some information from asking said owner some questions. ]
no subject
[he leans in to see cat on the fencepost, because while bugs are tops, he kind of likes cats.]
They put the dumb things on cats, too?
