Whatever you were doing before you got here, it isn't what you're doing now. What you're doing now is waking up in an unfamiliar bed in an unfamiliar room with... unfamiliar glasses on your face. No matter what you can do, you can't take those glasses off... but if you roll your eyes down, you'll be given a rundown of what's going on here.

Hmm. Well, that's probably a little unnerving. Maybe you should... leave? Fortunately, your room's not locked, but as you go downstairs and try and ask the locals what's going on, you'll find they're... less than cooperative. And if you go outside the inn and try to leave into the town... well, you'll find several locations around the town, but you'll also find that you can't seem to leave.

Well. Maybe you should talk to the other people who just showed up here. All the locals are going to tell you is an explanation is forthcoming, so you might want to kill some time getting to know each other.

Not when those strangers are uglier than dogs. What is even up with some of these chumps? Some of them look like they were beaten with an ugly stick. [ Just sayin'. Some of y'all ain't cute, it ain't his fault. ]

[ Sure. He'll tell you what he wants, what he really, really wants. ]

Like that'll do anything. Hell, they probably brought all these ugly assholes here on purpose. Nobody wants to kill someone beautiful.

[Honestly, it's not like he'd expect complaining about any rules would accomplish anything but maybe bother whoever captured them but this wasn't the reasoning he was expecting to hear in a rebuttal.]

...And just what makes you say that? If anything, seeing beautiful faces all twisted in pain is its own sort of ecstasy.

[ There's about a fraction of a pause as he looks at Niles. Really, really looks at him. You've got his full attention now, guy. And now that you do, he bursts out laughing. His smile doesn't drop once as he speaks. ]

Ha ha ha! What the hell, man? Did you really say that to me? What kind of crazy freak are you?

[provocatives]

[Now that's a reaction he doesn't get everyday. Irritation, disgust, discomfort: those were what he was used to, but then again, they certainly do have a variety of characters assembled here... seeing a woman start off the day by flipping a table in an inn definitely gave that impression. Not that he wouldn't try giving it another shot.]

You have a problem with it? Because I have a couple of other choice words I could whisper into those ears of yours...

Oh no, no problems here. Just surprised to hear someone else say it. But, guess I should have expected it. It takes all kinds, you know? Especially in a kill box like this one. [ Annnd since the invitation is there, he actually comes closer and raises his hand over Niles' face. He doesn't touch, but his fingers are just shy of Niles' skin before he pulls away.

That's weird. This kid is weird, Niles. ] What kind of sweet nothings would you whisper, anyway?

["Someone else"... well, that isn't alarming at all. Still, it's not like Niles hasn't hung out with his fair share of questionable individuals before. He doesn't appreciate that approach though, if the way he narrows his eye and tilts his head back just a tad says something about it.

It's close to something he himself would do, and he's not too fond of having it turned back on him.]

Oh, just the sort of thing that could make even a sailor blush. Want a demonstration?

[ Annnd he's laughing again. ] A sailor, huh? That must mean it's reeaally bad! Probably the foulest thing a person could ever hear!

[ It might be hard to tell if he's being genuine or if he's being condescending. Hell, he might not even know which it is. He keeps smiling though and steps closer. ] Come on! Give me your best shot.

Well fine, if this is how it's going to go???]

Just don't come crying to me if it's too much.

[And with that, he'll lean down and oblige. He doesn't actually touch Dito's ear as he whispers but every now and then there's a puff of warm air as if it's intentional; even discounting his words, that alone would probably be enough to make the experience uncomfortable for most people. After a painfully long series of minutes, Niles finally steps back, looking rather satisfied with himself.]

[ As Niles backs away, all Dito does is blink slowly. Huh. Huh. ] ... ha. [ Slowly, he breaks out into a smile. ] Ha... aha ha ha ha!

[ As the laughter goes on, it gets progressively more deranged. Just, damn? He leans over, holding his stomach, and then looks back up at Niles. Look at that stupid smug face of his. Fucking pitiful! Just what the hell is that? What was any of that shit? ]

[ A moment passes and he turns his head to the side, spits, and straightens up, much less amused than before. ] So that's what you're working with, huh? That's your big, bad fetish that you just had to share? Even that stupid, worthless, disgusting sow was more creative than that!

[ You better believe he sounds angry, though he's not angry at Niles per se. Maybe he's angry at himself, maybe he's angry at Five. ... no, he's definitely angry at Five. And everything, there's no hiding just how little he thinks of everything around him. The world is garbage and he's garbage too. ]

[ He pauses briefly before raising his shoulders. He's still bitter, still angry, but a moment of venting seems to have calmed him down. ] ... then again, if you came up with anything even close to that pig's tastes, I'd be even more angry. How about this, I'll give it... a D. 'cause absolute freaks like Decadus would be into it.

[But anyways, that... sure was a reaction. The anger was alright, but everything else, hmmmmm. Yeah, definitely no point in continuing on like this if this the what he's going to get. It's also not hard to see that there are a bunch of other issues wrapped in this as well, apparently, which wasn't exactly what he was aiming for at all.]

...Hard to satisfy, I see. Well, if that's the case, I won't bother boring you with anymore of that talk. Besides, I don't need anyone stabbing me just because I hit a bit of a sore spot.

[ It's easier to satisfy him than you realize, Niles. Unfortunately, his kinks are very much so not your kinks. Enough of that, though. ]

If you're already worried about me hurting you, you really don't want to meet Z. She's twice as likely to stab someone for pissing her off. And doubly likely to kill them. [ Somehow this math makes sense. As for not bothering with more, oh. That's kinda too bad. He moves his hands behind his head and casually shifts his weight from one foot to the other. ]
