Well, everything seems pretty normal when you wake up in your rooms... but you might find something unusual when you go downstairs into the inn.

[There's so much blood it might take Kokoro a moment to find anything, but there's unmistakeably something shiny towards the edge of the puddle.]

They hid the weapon in the straw? That would explain letting the horse wander around.

[She sets the knife down and starts looking around the stable for anything else out of place.]

[What, like it was driven into his eye socket by the handle or something? Because I'm starting to be very afraid of that possibility here.]

[No sign of anything other than blood, but the blood pattern is... different, though- there are dried smudges on the handle, but the only part of the blade that's bloody is if Kokoro got it dirty herself.]
