[They do! The sixteen stab wounds actually line up quite nicely with the pitchfork, making four rows of pitckfork stab-marks. But those rows are randomly stabbed into Niles and cross each other at points, so it's not immediately noticeable unless someone is holding the pitchfork up to the stab marks to compare them. So four similarly shallow marks make a row, four deep/twisty ones make a row, etc.
